The Holiday Decorating Contest is back!
Below are the rules to the contest. It is open to all Chimneystone residents, whether owner or tenant. Best wishes to all!
Rules/Details
- Decorating should be completed no later than December 13. Homeowners or tenants residing in the community are eligible.
- Judging will be conducted between December 14-15.
- Only the front properties will be considered for the purposes of judging
- The following judging criteria will be used: Overall curb appeal, consistency of theme, uniformity of color and décor, neatness, arrangement, and alignment of lights and décor, and creativity.
- All Association rules & regulations apply, as do federal/state/local laws and ordinances. If you plan to make any exterior changes, additions, or modifications to existing landscaping that are beyond just decorating, you must complete an Architectural Control Application that can be found on the Association website.
- Prizes will be awarded the week of December 16 as well as photos taken. Please be sure that Clint Seay has your contact information. If we can’t reach you or you do not respond within 48 hours, the prize will be awarded to a runner-up.
- Winners will be announced via the website on Sunday, December 22.
- Please note: Residents with open violations/fines or unpaid association dues are not eligible.
